Lunch is a full course and dinner is biryani with starters, with a pure-veg version of both for all-vegetarian groups. Only non-veg starters like fish or prawns are billed separately on request.

Yes — Brick & Bamboo takes up to 24 guests and is only ever let to one group at a time, so 20 people get the entire property: 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, the pool, the sports turf and the games room, with nobody else on site. Most villas near Mumbai cap out around 10–12 or split large groups across shared blocks. For 20 guests a weekend night is ₹64,000 with every meal included, which works out at ₹3,200 a head.

The whole villa is the only thing we let — we never rent by the room and never put two groups together. That suits family reunions, friends' weekends, milestone birthdays, anniversaries and small corporate offsites. Minimum 8 adults, maximum 24 guests, and one group has the run of all 1.5 acres.

The villa sleeps up to 24 guests across 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms — 14 in proper beds, 8 on mattresses in the bedrooms and 2 more in the living room. We host the villa as a whole for groups of 8 adults or more, which makes it suited to family reunions, friends' weekends, birthdays and small corporate offsites.

The pool is entirely private and yours alone — the whole property is booked to one group at a time, so you never share it. There is a huge main pool plus a separate baby pool with a gentle jacuzzi-style flow for children, and the pool area is lit for night swimming.

Brick & Bamboo is in Gulwadi, Karjat, in Raigad district, Maharashtra. It is roughly 90 minutes by train from Mumbai CST to Karjat, 80–100 minutes by road from Mumbai, and 75–90 minutes by road from Pune. We share the exact pin once your booking is confirmed.

Kondana Caves are about 7 km away, Bhivpuri waterfalls about 4 km, Bekare Falls about 7 km and Zenith waterfall around 14 km, with the Kothaligad trek roughly 21 km out. Most guests spend the day at the villa — pool, sports turf and games room — and head out for one trek or waterfall. There are 7–10 restaurants within a 15–30 minute radius.

Yes — the whole property is yours, so celebrations are straightforward. A bonfire, barbecue or birthday setup can be arranged with notice. Tell us the occasion when you book and we'll plan around it.

All four meals are included in the rate and cooked fresh at the villa. All-vegetarian groups get a pure-veg version of both lunch and dinner. Jain, vegan and allergy requirements are handled too — flag them on your booking so the kitchen can shop for it.

Very much so. There's a baby pool with a gentle jacuzzi-style flow, a sports turf and a games room, and children aged 5–12 are charged half rate with infants under 5 free. We also have resident dogs and a cat who live here and are used to guests. It's a natural setting, so please keep an eye on little ones outdoors at night.

There is free on-site parking for 6 cars, WiFi across the property, 10 air conditioners, and a generator so a power cut doesn't interrupt anything.
